After multiple trips to the range i Have yet to have any malfunctions or any other type of issues. I have put Winchester, reloads, and aluminum casing rounds and all have fired perfectly. The reliability of the G19C is very typical from what you see from Glock.
One of the reasons i got a G19C which is a 9mm, was so I could take out and teach friends and family without to much intimidation. My other handgun is a .45 ACP 1911 from Auto Ordnance. So far I have taken two people out and taught them how to properly use this firearm and about safety.
The Glock comes with a polymer frame which helps reduce the weight. All Glocks have a safe action system, trigger safety, fire pin safety, and a drop safety. The Glock is easy to disassemble and assemble.
I have added 3 oem modifications to enhance the Glock. The first part i swapped out was the Glock extended mag catch (part SPO1981) which retails around $4. the second part I swapped out was the Glock extended slide stop lever ( part sp07496) which retails for around $16. the third and final mod was the extended slide lock ( part extsl which retails for around $10). I find these modifications to help enhance the functionality of the Glock, making it easier to drop the magazine and hit the slide release with gloves on.
